RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada men's tennis team advanced senior Moez Chargui and junior Andrew Poustie on day two of the 2014 USTA/ITA Division I Mountain Regional tournament.

In singles action, Moez Chargui and Andrew Poustie dominated the court. Chargui went 2-2 on the day advancing him to day three of singles action. He defeated New Mexico State's Strahinja Trecakov, by a score of 6-2, 6-2. Chargui's big win on the day came from UNLV's Ace Matias, by a score of 4-6; 6-1, 6-4. Poustie also went 2-2 on the day, defeating University of New Mexico's James Hignett, by a score of 6-2, 6-4 and BYU's Jacob Sullivan by a score of 7-5, 6-1.

In doubles play, the Pack struggled on day two. Billy Bumgardner and Mile Cilic were defeated by Denver University's No. one seed Henry Craig and Alex Gasson, by a score of 8-4. Robert Allan and Ryan Andrada went back and forth with North Carolina's Ben Gendron and Austin Mayo, but were defeated by a score of 8-4. Duo Fernando Sunago and Andrew Poustie were overcome by BYU's no. five seed Andrey Goryachkov and Francis Sargeant, by a score of 8-1.

The Pack will start back up tomorrow for day three of the tournament.
