Final Stats
SAN DIEGO - The University of Nevada (2-12, 0-2 MW) volleyball team lost in three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-18 and 25-13 at San Diego State (6-6, 1-1 MW) tonight. With the loss the Wolf Pack dropped to 2-12 on the season and 0-2 in Mountain West play. The Aztecs improved to 6-6 and 1-1 in the conference.
Freshman Madison Morell led Nevada with eight kills and junior Tessa Lea`ea added seven. Senior setter Dana Holt dished out 19 assists.
Michelle Waber finished with a match-high 12 kills for SDSU. Setters Johnna Fouch and Chloe Mathis finished with 25 and 12 assists respectively. Courtney Vaccarello posted a match-high 13 digs.
SDSU had 10 blocks and Nevada four. The Pack hit .033 on the night and the Aztecs .345
The Pack returns home to host a pair of MW matches next week. Colorado State is at the Virginia Street Gym on Thursday night at 7 p.m. Wyoming is in Reno on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
