RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada men's tennis team is ranked No. 73 in the nation in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I men's tennis rankings released on Tuesday.
"As a team we continue to make strides in our improvement and continue to understand where we want to be," said head coach Erik Burton. "This is just a small step in the big picture for the talent and desire on this team!"
Nevada is winners of five out of its last six dual matches, including back-to-back wins over UC Davis and Sacramento State. This is the first ranking for the Wolf Pack this season.
"At this level we definitely understand that keeping a national ranking is harder than striving to reach it," Burton said.
