Final Stats

LARAMIE, Wyo. - The University of Nevada (2-23, 0-13 MW) volleyball team lost a Mountain West match at Wyoming (15-13, 5-9 MW) on Thursday night. The Wolf Pack is now 2-23 and 0-13 in MW play while the Cowgirls improved to 15-13 and 5-9 in the conference.

The Cowgirls largest advantage of the first set was seven points as they won 25-20. Set two went back-and-forth as there were nine ties and five lead changes before Wyoming won 25-17. Nevada did not lead in the final set as the Cowgirls won 25-15 to sweep the match 3-0.

Junior Tessa Lea'ea posted a match-high 12 kills in the match. Pack setters Lyndsey Anderson and Dana Holt had 18 and 13 assists respectively.

Bridget Shanahan topped Wyoming with 11 kills and Erin Kirby added 10. Setter Rachel Keyes finished with 30 digs.

Nevada hit .072 and the Cowgirls .385 in the match. Wyoming held a 10-3 advantage in blocking.

Nevada continues its road trip with a match at #10 Colorado State on Saturday evening.
