Nevada Notes 
The University of Nevada women's basketball team (2-0 MW) will face UC Irvine (1-1 Big West) Sunday afternoon at Lawlor Events Center. Tip-off is 2 p.m.
UC Irvine is the second consecutive Big West opponent to come to Lawlor, as Nevada defeated Long Beach State 91-61 Friday night. The Anteaters lead the overall series with the Wolf Pack 12-7. Nevada defeated UC Irvine 72-49 on the road last season, where Danika Sharp finished the game with 11 points. Senior guard Jennifer Tsurumoto leads the team with 12.5 ppg. The Anteaters opened the season with a 68-64 win at home over South Dakota, before falling 76-59 at Pepperdine on Thursday.
