RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada men's tennis team will hit the road for the second time this week, as it travels to Tuscon, Ariz. on Saturday for a dual match with Northern Arizona.
This will be the second match of the week for the Wolf Pack. Earlier this week, the Pack earned a commanding 6-1 victory over UC Irvine and is looking to keep the momentum rolling. Head coach Erik Burton said he thinks the strong play will continue from top to bottom.
"Everyone played great earlier this week, all the way around," Burton said. "Both the captains played well and our newcomers matched their strong play."
Against UC Irvine, co-captain Quentin Mege scored the first point for the Wolf Pack, while other co-captain Victor Ouvrard clinched the match playing out of the No. 1 slot. Newcomers Andrew Poustie and Robert Allan both earned their first college dual singles and doubles victories of their careers, respectively. The doubles victory came together as a team.
The match against Northern Arizona starts at 9 A.M. on Saturday.
