WAC Championships, Final 
MESA, Ariz. - Playing in her first career conference tournament, freshman Nikki Prichard led Nevada with a 10th-place finish at the Western Athletic Conference Championships on Wednesday at Longbow Golf Club.
Prichard shot 75 in the final round and finished at 9-over 225 for the tournament. Junior Louise Yi had a 74 - the low round of the day for Nevada - and tied for 21st. Sophomore Joyce Chong was 25th with freshman Taylor Bickell a shot back and tied for 26th. Senior Alex Borcherts finished her collegiate career with a 29th-place finish.
San Jose State won its fourth consecutive WAC Women's Golf Championship as Nevada finished in sixth place in the team race. Idaho senior Kayla Mortellaro (70-71-73--214) defeated New Mexico State's Demi Mak (75-72-67--214) with a birdie on the fourth hole of sudden death. San Jose State's Jennifer Brumbaugh (73-73-69--215) and Madeleine Ziegert (70-74-72--216) finished third and fourth, respectively.
