Anuenue Day One Get Acrobat Reader



KAPALUA, Hawai`i - The Nevada women's golf team is 10th after two round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic being played at the Bay Course at the famed golf resort Kapalua on Maui.

Louise Yi carried rounds of 76 and 78 to lead Nevada after the first two rounds as the junior tied for 30th overall. Freshmen Nikki Prichard (82-74; T36th) and Taylor Bickell (79-79; T40th) just behind Yi in the individual standings. Senior Alex Borcherts (81-82) is tied for 60th and sophomore Joyce Chong (86-81) is tied for 65th.

The final 18 holes are scheduled for Tuesday.

Colorado leads a talented field in the team race at 12 over for the tournament. Cal is three shots back, followed by Tennessee and Mississippi. Nevada is 10th at 54 over, just seven shots back of WAC foe Fresno State and nine strokes ahead of WAC foe and tourney host Hawaii.
