Final Results 
KAHUKU - Senior Kevin Lucas led the Nevada men's golf team to an eighth place finish Friday at the John Burns Invitational.
Lucas carded a 76 on Friday at the Palmer Course at Turtle Bay and he finished in a tie for 13th. Freshman Zak Griffiths had a 73 and he moved up to a tie for 38th. Fellow frosh Andrew Cornella was a shot back, tied for 41st. Brian Knoll has Nevada's low round of the day with an even-par 72 and tied for 50th while Taylor Knoll was a shot back in a tie for 54th.
California won the team title with a 17 under. UNLV and Duke tied for second at 10 under. Duke's Julian Suri was the medalist at 11 under for the 54-hole tournament.
Nevada will be off for nearly a month before returning to action at the Desert Shootout in Arizona in March.
