Burns Invitational 2 Get Acrobat Reader



KAHUKU, Hawaii - Senior Kevin Lucas carded a 68 on Thursday and moved into a tie for sixth place at the John Burns Intercollegiate at the Palmer Course at Turtle Bay Resort.

Nevada, which was one under for the tournament heading into Tuesday's round, shot a three over 291 as a team. The Wolf Pack is in eighth place at two over heading into the final round on Friday. Cal leads the team race at 20 under with SMU four shots back at 16 under.

Lucas opened with a 71 on Wednesday and then went low on Thursday as his 68 was tied for the second lowest round of the day. Freshman Andrew Cornella, who shot 68 on Wednesday, had a 75 on Thursday and is tied for 20th.

Freshman Zak Griffiths carded a 73 and is tied for 49th, one stroke ahead of Taylor Knoll, who had a 76 on Thursday. Brian Knoll shot 75 and is tied for 78th.
