ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of Nevada men's tennis team fell 4-3 to the No. 56 New Mexico Lobos Saturday.
The loss dropped the Wolf Pack to 1-2, while New Mexico improved to 1-0.
"They have two of the best doubles teams in the country," head coach Erik Burton said. "Overall though I'm proud of these players and their desire and continued energy."
Nevada played from behind after New Mexico won the doubles point with three victories. Storming back with wins in each of the first three singles matches, Nevada could not complete the comeback in the bottom half of its lineup.
