The University of Nevada Women's Basketball team participated in several community outreach programs this past week.
Wednesday members of the team along with other Wolf Pack student athletes, athletics department staff, and student volunteers joined together to pack over 350 snack packs for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada's Back-Pack Kids program.
Thursday the team visited patients and staff at the Renown Children's Hospital. While there the team was taken on a tour of the hospital and to took pictures with some of the children. Also on Thursday the team and coaching staff had lunch with over 300 employees of the IGT Global Game Studios Division as part of their company retreat which took place in the Virginia Street Gym. Head coach Jane Albright shared a few words with the staff and members of the team shot around with the IGT employees.
