PORTLAND - The University of Nevada (0-6) volleyball team was swept in three sets by Texas A&M (6-0) falling by scores of 25-12, 25-21 and 25-20 on Saturday morning at the Portland Nike Invitational. The Wolf Pack is now 0-6 on the season and 0-3 at the invitational. The Aggies improved to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the invitational.

The Aggies scored the first nine points of the first set on the way to the 25-12 victory. The Pack hit negative .120 and Texas A&M .429 in the first set.

In set two Texas A&M jumped to a 10-4 lead and never trailed in winning 25-21 to take a 2-0 advantage in the match. The Pack hit .200 and the Aggies .333.

Set three was tied at 3-3 before the Aggies scored the next three points and went on to win 25-20 to take the match 3-0. Nevada hit .111 in the final set and Texas A&M .286.

Senior Erin Garvey posted a match-high 10 kills to lead the Pack and setter Tatiana Santiago dished out a match-high 23 assists. Libero Kelly Chang finished with 10 digs.

Kelsey Black topped the Aggies with seven kills and setter Allie Sawatzky had 22 assists. Heather Reynolds had a match-high 11 digs.

Nevada hit .083 in the match and the Aggies .337. Both teams had three blocks.

Nevada concludes play in the invitational at 7:30 p.m. versus Portland.
