SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The University of Nevada women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to UC Santa Barbara Sunday, in a match that saw two Nevada players reach career milestones.

The Wolf Pack fell to 1-8, while UCSB improved to 4-5-1.

Jenna Riddle, who got her second straight start in net for the Pack, split time with Dana Moreno. Each played 45 minutes.

The match was scoreless for the first 77 minutes, but UCSB put the game winner home in minute 78. The goal came after Moreno got her hands on a shot by Kelly McGrath, only to concede the rebound attempt to Erin Ortega.

Danielle Green, Lauren Braman and newcomer Madison Lorenzen each played 90 minutes.

Lorenzen notched her first career goal Friday against Cal Poly and led the Pack Sunday with one shot attempt. As a team, the Pack committed nine fouls and earned two corner kicks against the Gauchos.

Leading a duo of Pack players to reach noteworthy numbers, Senior Annabelle Allen reached career milestones in games played and started at Nevada, making her 70th appearance against the Gauchos. She is now five appearances away from entering Nevada's all-time top 10 and only 10 away from tying the all-time record of 80, which is held by three players.

With her 69th start Sunday, Allen also tied Leisha Makinano for seventh all time at Nevada. She is now eight starts away from being the all-time leader for the Pack.

Braman made her 50th consecutive start in the Nevada defense Sunday. The junior from Niwot, Colo. has started every match of her career.

Nevada will return to action Friday at 7 p.m., when it welcomes the Sacramento State Hornets to Mackay Stadium.
