POCATELLO, Idaho - The University of Nevada women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 (2OT) decision to the Idaho State Bengals Friday.

The loss dropped Nevada to 0-3, while Idaho State improved to 3-0.

Behind an early goal from senior Ellie Stott, the Wolf Pack jumped ahead of the Bengals and stayed there for most of the game.

In the 13th minute, Stott found the back of the net from 20 yards out, putting a shot in the top-right corner of the Idaho State goal. It was the first goal of the year for Stott and for Nevada as a team. Chrisalyn Fonte assisted on Stott's goal to earn her first point at Nevada.

Each team attempted five shots in the first half, with Nevada getting two on target to Idaho State's one.

In the second half, Nevada continued to put the pressure on, pushing into the Bengals half of the field with consistency.

Idaho State's equalizer came with only two minutes remaining, when Megan Stainbrook headed in her first goal of the year off a set piece.

The contest would remain tied until minute 107, as the game-winner also came off a set piece courtesy of Anna Pingree.

A physical game overall, there were 26 fouls and four yellow cards. Each of the four yellow cards was doled out in the second half, three to Idaho State and one to Nevada.

Jenna Riddle started her third straight game in goal for Nevada, making seven saves.

Nevada will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah, to take on the Utes Sunday at noon.
