RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada basketball program has announced the dates for the Boys Basketball Summer Camps that will be conducted by Wolf Pack head coach David Carter and his staff. Camps will be held at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows at 2680 East Ninth Street in Reno.
The camps are for boys entering grades three through eight. The first camp will take place on June 27-30 with the second being held July 18-21. Camps run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day with supervision provided from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Fee for the camp is $170.
The Pack summer Camps feature individual instruction including techniques and fundamentals, offensive and defensive instruction and competitive games and drills. Participants will enjoy the positive atmosphere that comes from learning and playing basketball at the University of Nevada. Participants will receive a camp certificate and a camp T-shirt. All camps will have excellent supervision and will be staffed with an athletic trainer. Camps are designed to enhance each player and provide instruction based on ability and skill level. Campers will be separated by age and skill level. Guest speakers and clinics will also be a part of the camp experience.
