RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada women's tennis team will take on three opponents this weekend at Caughlin Club, meeting New Mexico State Friday at noon, Sonoma State Saturday at 10 a.m. and No. 57 Boise State Sunday at 11 a.m.
The Pack comes into the matches with a 5-9 overall record (1-1 WAC), looking to move ahead in the conference standings and rebound from two straight losses.
New Mexico State is 9-5 overall in 2011, with a matching 1-1 record in the WAC. The Aggies will ride a two-match winning streak into the weekend's contests. They defeated Utah State and Weber State by matching 5-2 scores last weekend.
Sonoma State brings a 10-5 overall record into its contest with the Wolf Pack, shutting out Notre Dame de Namur its last time out.
Boise State comes into the weekend ranked No. 57 nationally, with a 13-6 (3-0 WAC) record. The Broncos conference wins have come over San Jose State, Utah State and Idaho.
