RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada women's tennis team will take on Utah State on senior day, Friday at Caughlin Club at 11 a.m.

The Wolf Pack is on a three-match winning streak entering its contest with the Aggies, having improved its record to 8-9 (3-1 WAC).

In its last contest, the Pack pulled off a 4-3 upset of then No. 57 Boise State, handing the Bronco's their first conference loss of the season.  The Wolf Pack came back from an early 1-0 deficit after Boise State won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, to win at singles positions No. 2 - No. 5.

Along with two individual wins against Boise State, Emma Verberne won four additional matches during the week to go 6-0 and win WAC Tennis Player of the Week.

Utah State is 9-6 (0-4 WAC) in 2011, and is coming off a 4-3 loss to Idaho in its last match. 

Against the Vandals, The Aggies fought to an early lead, 3-1, but failed to close out the Vandals, as Idaho rallied to win the final three points of the match.

Nevada will close out its season with two make-up matches, taking on Pacific Sunday, April 17 at 1 p.m. and Louisiana Tech at 2 p.m. Friday, April 22.  Both matches will be road contests for Nevada.
