RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada soccer team will play its first exhibition match of the 2011 season Friday, as it takes on the University's men's club team, at 6 p.m. inside Mackay Stadium.
While both teams will be taking donations at the gate, admission to the match will be free. Any donation will be split evenly between the women's program and the men's club team.
The contest will be the first of two scrimmages between the teams this spring, as the Wolf Pack will welcome the men into Mackay again April 2, at 3 p.m.
Nevada's spring scrimmages will culminate in the Women's Soccer Alumni Game, April 16 at 3 p.m. at Mackay. The game will feature the return of a host of former players, including members of the 2006 Western Athletic Conference championship team.
