RENO, Nev. - Tahnee Robinson has been selected as a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-Region nominee for the 2010 State Farm Coaches' All-America Team.  The list of 52 women's basketball athletes will be trimmed to 40 finalists March 21, all of whom will then be vying for one of 10 spots on the All-America Team.

Robinson is one of four athletes representing Region 7, including fellow Western Athletic Conference athletes Adrienne Johnson of La Tech and Jeleesa Ross of Fresno State.  Robinson is currently the eighth best scorer in the nation, averaging 22.2 points per game and shooting 45.2 percent from the floor, with 82 three pointers.

The senior co-captain has been named the WAC Player of the Week three times and even earned one of five finalist spots for the 2010 Sullivan Award, given each year to the country's best amateur athlete.  Robinson was also named first-team All-WAC and to the WAC All-Tournament Team.

Robinson led Nevada to its first 20-win season after scoring an impressive 32 points in a 71-66 defeat of LA Tech Feb. 28.  The Fort Washakie, Wyo. native scored a career-high 35 points against Idaho in the Wolf Pack's second-round 75-61 defeat of Idaho at the WAC Championships.  Robinson now looks to help her team continue its record-setting season as they prepare to face St. Mary's in the first round of the WNIT.  Nevada will face the Gaels at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 17 in Moraga, Calif.
