FRESNO, Calif. - The University of Nevada women's tennis team (1-4) fell to Fresno State 5-2 at the Wathen Tennis Center on campus at Fresno State University Sunday.

The doubles point went to Nevada as the teams of Gabriela Eufrasio/Michelle Okhremchuk and Aodhnait Lombard/Sophie Stevens won at positions No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.

Fresno State came on strong in singles play and the Wolf Pack was not able to respond, as the Bulldogs won five of the six singles matches contested.

Winning her singles match for the second day in a row, Sophie Stevens defeated Olga Kirpicheva 6-4 7-6(5).

Nevada will travel to compete against UC Irvine Feb 12 in its next scheduled competition.
