RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada women's basketball team will be looking to bounce back as it travels to play San Jose State at the Events Center on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m.  Nevada suffered a 79-73 defeat at the hands of Utah State at home on Thursday allowing the Aggies to sweep the regular-season series. 

When the Pack plays at San Jose State on Saturday it will be the fourth game in eight days for Nevada whose now lost five of its last eight. San Jose State is on a three-game losing streak after picking up just two wins on the season, but both in WAC play.  The Spartans are led by Sara Plavljanin averaging 11.1 points per game.

Overall, San Jose State leads the all-time series 19-17.  Nevada has won nine straight games dating back to the 2006 WAC Tournament when Nevada eliminated San Jose State in the quarterfinals that year with a 76-61 win on March 7.  In that win span, Nevada has averaged 70.3 ppg with an average margin of victory of 17.1 points.
