SAN FRANCISCO - The University of Nevada women's tennis team (1-6) defeated the USF Dons by a final score of 5-2 Sunday.

Snapping a five-match slide in the win, Nevada got productive play in both singles and doubles matches, winning four of the six singles matches and all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point.

Michelle Okhremchuk won at the No. 1 singles position for the Wolf Pack, as did Lias Ogata, Aodhnait Lombard and Sophie Stevens at positions No. 3, 4 and 5 respectively.

Getting out of the gate well, Nevada swept the doubles action, winning by scores of 8-1, 8-5 and 8-3.

Nevada will compete against Santa Clara, in a doubleheader with the University of Nevada men's team, Saturday, March 5.
