RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada women's basketball team will continue searching for its first-ever 20-win season after it lost to New Mexico State Saturday, 63-59 at Lawlor Events Center.  Nevada drops to 19-8 (8-6 WAC) while New Mexico State improves to 12-16 (6-8 WAC).  The Wolf Pack dropped the heartbreaker in front of 2,465 fans, the fifth-best crowd in school history.

The Pack's offense was stifled throughout the game as Nevada shot a season-low 26.3 percent, on 15-57 from the field.  The Wolf Pack had just two three-pointers and was 27-40 from the free throw line.  Nevada out-rebounded the Aggies 48-35 scoring 16 second-chance points. 

Nevada senior Tahnee Robinson led all scorers with 24 points with two threes and hitting 10-13 from the free throw line and six rebounds.  Fellow senior Shavon Moore scored nine points also grabbing six rebounds but suffered a knee injury.  Further tests will be required over the coming days to confirm the extent of the damage.

The Wolf Pack will play its final home game of the season on Monday night at 8 p.m.  The Pack will send off its six-player senior class facing Louisiana Tech on ESPNU.  Pack fans who attend the game can get their tickets stamped at the game and redeem them for a free medium pizza at any local Domino's locations.  Should the Pack beat the Lady Techsters Monday, the free pizza offer will upgrade to a large pie.
