PROVO, Utah - The University of Nevada men's tennis team (2-3) fell to the No. 56 BYU Cougars (5-4) by a final score of 7-0 Friday.

BYU came out strong and won both doubles matches contested on their way to the doubles point.

Nevada, still dealing with injuries to key players on the roster, had to compete with five players.  The Pack was forced to forfeit matches at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.

BYU built on its strong start with five wins in singles play to earn its fifth victory of the season.

Nevada will stay on the road to compete against Utah State Saturday.  The contest will be the first WAC meeting for both teams.
