RENO, Nev. -The University of Nevada women's basketball team defeated the University of Hawai'i Saturday in a 69-42 victory in front of 1,086 Nevada faithful at Lawlor Events Center.  With the win, Nevada improves to 17-7 (6-5 WAC) while Hawai'i drops to 8-16 (2-9 WAC).

The Wolf Pack finished the game shooting 21-58 for 36.2 percent with four threes and 23-30 from the free throw line.  The pack out-rebounded the Rainbow Wahine 50-42 and outscored Hawai'i 32-16 in the paint.  The Pack also tied for a season-high with eight blocks on the game.

Three Wolf Pack players scored in double figures led by senior Tahnee Robinson.  Robinson led all scorers for the 17th time this season scoring 24 points with eight rebounds and three, three-pointers.  Junior Kayla Williams collected her sixth double-double of the year with 12 points and 11 rebounds.  Williams broke the 500 career-rebound mark, as she needed just three going into Saturday's game.  Senior Shavon Moore scored 11 points with seven rebounds.

Nevada returns to the road next week as it will travel to rematch with Idaho on Feb. 17 and Boise State on Feb. 19.
