LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The University of Nevada women's soccer team fell 2-1 in overtime to New Mexico State on Sunday.

"It is always tough to lose in overtime," head coach Dr. Melissa Price said. "We had a great chance to win when Chrisayln (Fonte) hit the post in the extra frame."

The Wolf Pack fell to 3-12 (1-2 WAC), while the Aggies improved to 8-6-1 (1-2 WAC).

The first tally of the game came in the 41st minute when New Mexico State's Cassandra Branch scored on a breakaway down the right side of the field.

Fighting until the final whistle, the Pack tied the game late on Kori Disarufino's third goal of the season. Her goal came in breakaway fashion as well and was in the 88th minute.

The game winner came seven minutes into overtime off an NMSU corner kick. Dana Moreno started in goal for the Pack and played the entire match. She made three saves in 97 minutes.

Nevada will return to action Sunday at noon against Utah State. The match will be in Reno at Mackay Stadium.
