RENO, Nev. -

The University of Nevada women's basketball schedule will feature 16 home games, including an exhibition game fourth-year head coach Jane Albright announced Thursday. Nevada's schedule in all includes 9 teams who saw post season action last year.

Nevada will host two home tournaments this season with the John Ascuaga's Nugget Classic November 25-26 and Reno-Tahoe Classic December 29-30. In the Nugget Classic, the Wolf Pack will be joined with Penn State and Iowa State who played in the NCAA Tournament last year and Butler who made the WNIT field. The Reno-Tahoe Classic will feature Nevada and Oklahoma State who saw post season play in the WNIT along with Mississippi State and Long Island.
Nevada will play an exhibition game against Notre Dame de Namur on November 9. The Pack will open the regular season at home on November 13 with a game against St. Martin's before they travel to the University of Minnesota for the Subway Classic tournament.

"The schedule gives us great opportunities to compete against quality non-conference opponents and prepare for WAC competition." Head Coach Jane Albright said. "Last year's team truly left a legacy. We will certainly miss the six seniors from that record-setting team."

Nevada will host Pacific on November 30 before its first extended road trip when they travel to Portland State on December 3 followed by Long Beach State on December 8 and Cal State Fullerton on December 10. The Wolf Pack will return home to face PAC 12 opponent Oregon on December 13 before hitting the road again to BYU on December 22.

"The returners and newcomers have responded with an incredible and productive off-season," Albright said. "What we lack as a unit in game experience we will make up for in time, talent, and effort. Please join us in Lawlor Events Center this season as we chase our dreams."

The Pack will host intra state rival UNLV on January 2 and will then close out non-conference play on the road at Cal State Bakersfield on January 10. Nevada will open up its final year as a member of the Western Athletic Conference on the road against last year's conference tournament champion Fresno State on January 14. The Wolf Pack will conclude the regular season with a two-game homestand against New Mexico State on March 1 and Louisiana Tech on March 3.
