Final Results 
LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- The Nevada men's golf team was 3-over-par for the day and moved up to finish in fourth place in a strong field at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate hosted by New Mexico State.
Senior Kevin Lucas led the charge as he followed up a 67 in the second round with a 1-under 70 in?Tuesday's final round to place seventh in the individual race. Fellow Senior Gavin Kwon recorded a tie for 20th while freshmen Gustavo Chuang and Zak Griffiths tied for 26th in the event. Taylor Knoll rounded out the Nevada contingent with a tie for 38th.
UNLV won the event going away ahead of Wichita State and the host New Mexico State. Nevada was fourth, a stroke a head of Kansas and three clear of WAC?foes San Jose State and Idaho.
Nevada made a big run in the final two rounds of the 54-hole event. The Wolf Pack was ninth after the first round and climbed five spots to finish fourth.
The Wolf Pack will close out the fall portion of its season next week at the Pacific Invitational in?Stockton,?Calif.
