Virginia Street Gym Site of Nevada Invitational
 
   The University of Nevada volleyball team will host the Nevada Invitational this weekend as Notre Dame, Belmont and Weber State travel to Reno for the two-day event.  The four teams will play three matches over two days to determine at champion in the invitational sponsored by Ramada and Best  Western Airport Plaza. 
    The Wolf Pack open play on Friday versus 0-4 Weber State at 6:00 p.m.  Nortre Dame (2-1) and Belmont (2-2) get the invitational started at 4:00 p.m.  Saturday’s action gets underway at 10:00 a.m. with Weber State taking on Notre Dame followed by Nevada and Belmont at noon.  The final session has Belmont playing Weber State at 5:00 p.m. followed by the Pack squaring off with Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m.

Pack Go 1-2 At Tiger Invitational
  
 Nevada went 1-2 the first weekend of play at the Tiger Invitational in Columbia, Mo.   The Wolf Pack opened play with a 3-1 victory over Utah Valley as Reno, freshman outsider hitter Grace Anxo posted a double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs in her first collegiate match.    
    In the second match the Pack lost in three to the host Missouri Tigers.  Senior outside hitter Kylie Harrington topped the team with 13 kills, junior setter Tatiana Santiago dished out 27 assists and libero Nicole Link had 19 digs.
    Nevada suffered a 3-1 loss to Maryland in the final match of the weekend.  Harrington once again topped the Pack with 11 kills while Santiago posted a double-double with 33 assists and 10 digs.

Baldwin Named To All-Tournament Team
  
 Nevada senior middle blocker Lindsay Baldwin was named to the Tiger Invitational All-Tournament team for her play the first weekend of the season.  Baldwin averaged 2.18 kills, and .55 blocks with a .291 attack percentage in the three matches.
