Returns for her second season in the Silver & Blue...expected to once again press for a starting spot or be a key reserve off the bench...an versatile player she could see time at either middle blocker or right side hitter.

2009 (Fr.):  Played in 22 matches earning starts in 17...recorded a kill in 20-of-22 matches...averaged .95 kills and .51 blocks per set...totaled a season-high six kills six times during the season...top match of the came in a 3-2 victory vs. Sam Houston State (Sept. 12) when she had six kills, two digs and four blocks to total a season-high eight points...37 total blocks and .51 blocks per set ranked fourth on the team...sixth on the team averaging .95 kills per set...six blocks versus Loyola Marymount (Sept. 18) was a season-high...earned first volleyball letter.

High School
Lettered three years in volleyball and basketball while earning two letters in track & field at Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis, Ore...senior season was co-MVP of the Mid-Willamette Conference and a first-team all-state selection....helped guide the Raiders to an eighth place finish at the state meet...two-time first-team all conference and was a second team selection as a sophomore...competing in the high jump she won the district meet her sophomore and junior season...placed sixth in the high jump as a sophomore and 10th her junior season at the state meet...played her last season of club volleyball for Northwest Juniors and coach Rod Jones.

Getting Acquainted
Enjoys music and singing in the shower...likes going to the beach and eating her Mom’s fried chicken...chose Nevada over Hofstra and Louisiana-Monroe...father played baseball for the Angels and Padres reaching the Triple A level...career highlight was playing in the state tournament her senior year...earned a 4.00 grade point average the first semester of her senior year...daughter of Lisa Chambers...business management major...born August 24, 1991.
