Team’s starting libero who returns for her fourth and final season at Nevada...a versatile athlete she has the ability to also play outside hitter...a team leader on and off the court...started all 31 matches last season and led the team averaging 3.84 digs per set which ranked fourth in the conference as did her 4.15 digs per set in WAC play...has played in all 87 matches in her career...430 digs last season is the second best total in school history and 393 in 2008 ranks seventh...1,014 career digs is 8th in Nevada history...earned WAC Academic honors each of her first three seasons.
2009 (Jr.): Started all 31 matches last season and led the team averaging 3.84 digs per set which ranked fourth in the WAC as did her 4.15 digs per set in WAC play...430 digs is the second best season total in school history...30 digs vs. CSU Bakersfield (Sept. 19) and 29 vs Utah State (Oct. 10) are the fourth and tied for the fifth best match totals in Pack history and were second and tied for the third most in a match in the WAC last year...the 30 digs established a new career high...led the team in digs in 24 matches with 16 being match highs...posted double figures in digs in 25-of-31 matches...six times had 20 or more digs in a match...finished fourth on the team averaging .16 service aces per set...earned third volleyball letter...earned academic WAC honors for the third time.
2008 (So.): Starter most of the season at libero, but also started three matches at outside hitter...393 digs on the season is the seventh best season in school history...ranked fifth in the WAC averaging 3.57 digs per set and her 3.48 in conference matches also ranked fifth...averaged .32 service aces per set in conference play to rank fifth in the WAC and .26 overall was seventh in the league...29 digs in the Pack’s 3-1 victory at Fresno State (Oct. 16) is tied for the fifth best total in school history and established a then career high...the 29 digs was the high by a Pack player and tied with Utah State’s Christine Morrill for the high in the WAC...totaled a career-high 12 kills in the Pack’s 3-2 victory at Louisiana Tech (Sept. 18) and also added 14 digs to post her first career double-double...22 times reached double figures in digs...stretch of eight consecutive matches of reaching double figures in digs snapped when she totaled nine in the Pack’s 3-0 home loss to #9 Hawai`i (Oct. 18)...led or tied for the team lead in digs 17 times...three times totaled 20 or more digs in a match, 23 vs. Idaho (Oct. 2), 29 at Fresno State (Oct. 16) and 21 at SJSU (Nov. 8)...13 times posted or tied for the match-high honors in digs...earned second Nevada volleyball letter...named to WAC Academic team for the second year in a row.
2007 (Fr.): Played two spots for the Pack in her first season, at libero and outside hitter earning 18 starts playing in all 27 matches...began the season starting at libero but was moved to outside hitter where she finished the season...appeared in 93 of the team’s 98 games on the season...reached double figures in digs seven times vs. Pacific (11), at Pepperdine (14), at Idaho (19), at SJSU (10), at Sacramento State (18), at Utah Valley (13) and in the first round of the WAC Tournament versus Idaho (17)...season-high of 19 digs at Idaho (Sept. 20)...season-high 10 kills in a 3-0 victory at Fresno State (Sept. 27)...recorded a dig in 26-of-27 matches on the season...2.05 digs per game ranked third on the squad...led the Pack and tied for match-high honors with 11 digs in the season opener versus Pacific (Aug. 24)...totaled 14.5 points at Fresno State (Sept. 27) with 10 kills, two assists, two service aces, four digs and five block assists which was her top match of the season... named to WAC Freshman Academic squad...earned first Nevada volleyball letter.

Lettered four years in volleyball and three years in soccer at Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, Calif...played her prep volleyball for coach Diane Heine...earned All-Sierra Valley Conference honors twice in volleyball and soccer...CBHS volleyball MVP...three-year captain of the volleyball team and once for the soccer squad...named to 2006 state all-tournament team and state citizenship sportsmanship honoree...Falcon volleyball team was the 2006 Division 4 Runner-up, 2005 and 2006 Sac-Joaquin Section Champs, 2006 NorCal Champs and 2006 co-Sierra Valley Conference Champions...member of 2005 Sac-Joaquin Section Champion and co-Sierra Valley Conference Championship soccer squad...numerous high school honors include: scholars program, National Honor Society, Female LaSalle Scholar Athlete of her class, Presidents Award Scholar Athlete and David Dacong Award recipient...played five seasons for Delta Valley Volleyball Club and coach Richard Chan...team qualified for Junior Olympics in the open division all five years.

In her free time Link likes to wakeboard, snowboard, travel, sew, and spend time with family and friends...chose to attend Nevada over Cornell, Fresno State, Binghampton and UNC Charlotte...daughter of Ken and Mary Kay Link...nutrition (dietetics) major...born Sept. 15, 1989...father played volleyball at UC Davis and still plays today winning two gold medals and was named MVP of the USVBA Men’s 45’s division at nationals...aunt Katie Haller played at USC, on the USA National Team, four-women beach volleyball and professionally in Belgium...uncle Scott Metcalf played three years on the USA National team...Scott also played volleyball four years at George Mason and in Belgium for a year.
