RENO, Nev. - After a four-year playing career and graduating from the University of Nevada in May of 2009 with a degree in general studies, basketball is still a big part of former guard Brandi Jones' life.
Jones, who has lived in Los Angeles, Calif., since graduation recently moved back to Reno and is working at basketball tournaments hosted by Matt Williams.
"I would still love to play overseas if I can get help with an agent. And I still work out every now and then," Jones said.
Jones said her favorite memory at Nevada was any time she was able to spend with her teammates and that she still keeps in touch with some of her teammates.
As for basketball, Jones is hopefully she'll get the opportunity to play overseas.
"Hopefully for the next season I will be overseas playing but until then I will keep working out," she said.
Jones, who played for Nevada from 2005-09, ended her career at Nevada third all-time in games played (122), third in steals (223), seventh in scoring (1,114), seventh in rebounding (598) and seventh in free throws made (189).
