Box Score BOISE, Idaho - The Nevada men's tennis team (6-7, 3-3) fell to the No. 49 Boise State Broncos Saturday by a final score of 6-1.
The Pack could not overcome losing the doubles point on the road against a top-50 opponent, but fought hard throughout singles play.
Wessim Derbel snagged a point for Nevada at No. 2 singles, defeating FIlipp Pogostkin of BSU 6-2, 6-1.
The loss snapped a four match win streak for Nevada, and dropped them to .500 in conference play this year.
Boise State moved to 16-9 with the victory (6-1, WAC), climbing closer to a No. 1 seed in the WAC Tournament, taking place in Fresno, Calif. April 29-May 2.
Nevada returns to competition Sunday April 18, against Sonoma State. The match will be the first of two played in Reno to close the regular season for the men.
