Postgame Notes:
- With the 79-68 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday night at Lawlor Events Center, Nevada improved to 19-11 overall and 11-5 in WAC play, while Louisiana Tech is now 22-9 overall and 9-7 in the WAC.
- The Wolf Pack finishes in a tie for second in the WAC with New Mexico State at 11-5 and earns the No. 2 seed in next week's WAC Tournament.
- The Wolf Pack finished the regular season with a 14-1 record at home this year and has won six consecutive home games. Nevada also won for the 33rd time in its last 39 WAC regular-season games and is 100-18 overall at Lawlor Events Center since the start of the 2003-04 season.
- Sophomore Luke Babbitt led the team and matched his season high with 29 points. It marked the fourth time this season that he has scored 29, the 18th time this year that he has led the team in scoring and the 20th time he has scored at least 20 points this season.
- Babbitt also knocked down a career-high four of five three-point attempts.
- Senior Brandon Fields and junior Armon Johnson each finished with 13 points.
- Nevada outrebounded Louisiana Tech 40-36, marking the second consecutive game that Nevada has outrebounded its opponent and just the fourth time in the last 14 games that Nevada has outrebounded its opponent. The Wolf Pack is now 12-4 this year when outrebounding its opponent.
- Babbitt, Fields and sophomore Dario Hunt each led the team with seven rebounds.
- The Wolf Pack made 10 three-pointers in the game, including 7-of-15 in the first half, and shot 45.5 percent from beyond the arc (10-22).
- Nevada honored its three seniors - Brandon Fields, Ray Kraemer and Joey Shaw - as well as graduate Richie Phillips prior to the game. Kraemer made his first start of the season and the second of his career.
- Second-seeded Nevada will return to action on Thursday night, taking on seventh-seeded Idaho at 6 p.m. in the quarterfinals of the WAC Tournament. Thursday night's game can be heard on Nevada's flagship, ESPN 630 AM, with Ryan Radtke and former Nevada head coach Len Stevens calling the action.
