SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Nevada Women’s tennis team (6-5, 2-0) fell to No. 75 San Diego (10-8) by a final score of 5-2 Saturday.
Nevada, coming off a victory over No. 41 Marshall Thursday, fell behind 1-0 after losing two of the three doubles matches contested.
In singles Nevada got victories from Maria Mizyuk at position No. 1 and Lais Ogata at position No. 4.
The Pack will play the first of six straight conference matches when they return to Reno Friday, April 2, for a doubleheader with New Mexico State and Louisiana Tech. The matches will be held at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. respectively.
The women will also be at home Sunday, April 3, when they take on Boise State at 1 p.m.
