SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The Nevada men’s tennis team (3-6, 1-2) got back on the winning track with a nail-biting, 4-3 victory over Dartmouth (8-4) Sunday.
The Pack won the doubles point after victories at positions No. 2 and No. 3, and also won in singles at Nos. 2-4.
The future of the men’s program was on display against the Big Green, as Freshman Stefan Dmitrovic and Sophomore Wessim Derbel both went undefeated. The underclassmen were a part of three of the four points the Wolf Pack won.
Dartmouth fought hard, winning the last two individual matches of the evening, making the early victories for the Pack all that more important.
Nevada will return to Reno for their first home matches of the season this weekend, hosting Eastern Washington and WAC opponent Utah State.
