Postgame Notes:

- With the 87-71 win over Idaho on Thursday night at Lawlor Events Center, second-seeded Nevada improved to 20-11 overall, while seventh-seeded Idaho ends its season with a 15-16 record.

- With the victory, Nevada notched its seventh consecutive 20-win season, while head coach David Carter becomes the second first-year head coach in school history to reach the 20-win mark (Mark Fox was the other with a 25-7 record in 2004-05).

- The second-seeded Wolf Pack won its WAC Tournament quarterfinals game for the eighth time in the last nine years and improved to 14-7 in WAC Tournament games.

- The Wolf Pack improved to 15-1 at Lawlor Events Center this year and has won seven consecutive home games. Nevada also won for the 39th time in its last 46 home games against WAC opponents (counting the 2006, 2009 and 2010) WAC Tournaments. Nevada is now 101-18 overall at Lawlor Events Center since the start of the 2003-04 season.

- Sophomore Luke Babbitt led the team in scoring for the 19th time this year with 21 points. It marked his team-leading 21st 20-point game of the year. He made 8-of-15 field goal attempts, including 2-of-3 three-point attempts, in the contest.

- Babbitt led five Wolf Pack players in double figures for scoring, marking the third time this season that five Nevada players have reached double digits (Houston and BYU were the others).

- Senior Brandon Fields added 15 points, senior Joey Shaw had 14, junior Armon Johnson scored 13 and sophomore Dario Hunt chipped in with 12 on 4-of-5 shooting from the field and the free throw line.

-  Nevada shot 55.4 percent from the field in the game, including a blistering 55.6 percent from three-point land (10-18). The team made 60.7 percent of its first-half field goal attempts.

- Tonight marked the second consecutive game that the Wolf Pack made 10 three-pointers, which is one shy of its season high of 11 made Nov. 21 vs. Houston. Nevada has now made 43.1 percent of its three-point attempts in the last five games (50-116). Fields (3-6) and fellow senior Ray Kraemer (3-4) each made a team-high four three-pointers in the game, while Shaw and Babbitt each knocked down a pair./\

- Nevada is now 12-1 on the year when shooting over 50 percent from the field.

- Idaho outrebounded Nevada 37-36, marking the ninth time in the last 15 games that the Wolf Pack has been outrebounded.

- Babbitt and Hunt each led the team with seven rebounds.

- Second-seeded Nevada will return to action in Friday night's semifinals, taking on the winner of a game between third-seeded New Mexico State and sixth-seeded San Jose State. Friday night's game will be televised nationally by ESPN2 with Terry Gannon and Stephen Bardo calling the action, while it can also be heard on Nevada's flagship, ESPN 630 AM, with Ryan Radtke and former Nevada head coach Len Stevens calling the action.
