Emma Verberne is this week's Wolf Pack Athlete of the Week, presented by McDonald's for the week of Feb. 22-28.
Verberne, a freshman out of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, had a solid weekend in the Pack's narrow defeat over Texas Tech at Lakeridge Tennis Club in Reno. Verberne won her singles match by a score of 6-3, 6-3 and was part of a doubles match victory with Lais Ogata by a score of 9-8 (7-4). Women's tennis will next compete when they travel to Sacramento to take on the Saint Mary's Gaels on Sunday.
