RUSTON, La. - The University of Nevada women's basketball team dropped back-to-back WAC games for the first time this year as the Pack fell at LA Tech, 69-56, Saturday afternoon in Ruston, La. 

With the loss, Nevada fell to 15-13 overall (9-5 WAC) while LA Tech improved to
LA Tech 19-7 overall (10-4 WAC). 

LA Tech used a 14-0 run spanning six minutes to go ahead 17-6 with 12:13 left in the first half.  The Pack used a 6-0 capped by a layup from Nicole Williams to cut the lead to four, 20-16, with 8:16 left in the first half. 

LA Tech pushed its lead to 16 points, 36-20, with 2:48 to play in the half.  Nevada used a 9-0 run to close out the half as the Pack trailed by 10 at halftime, 39-29.

Nevada shot 40 percent (10-of-25) from the floor in the first half while LA Tech shot 45.5 percent (15-of-33).  Tahnee Robinson led Nevada at the half with 14 points while N. Williams had six.

The Pack opened the second half and cut LA Tech's lead to five, 42-37, on a jumper by Robinson with 16:04 to play.  The Lady Techsters pushed its lead back to double-digits as the team went up by 12, 50-38, with 14:06 left in the game. 

Nevada again cut the lead to single digits, 54-46, with 9:29 to play before LA Tech used a 12-2 run to go ahead 66-48 with 5:33 left in the game. 

Robinson led Nevada with 17 points while N. Williams added 11.  Marianne Lombardi recorded 12 rebounds for the Pack on off her career-high of 13.

Nevada shot 35.8 percent from the floor (19-of-53). 

Nevada will host New Mexico State on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
