Postgame Notes:

- With the 83-79 win at San Jose State on Thursday night, Nevada improved to 17-10 overall and 9-4 in WAC play, while San Jose State is now 13-14 overall and 5-8 in the WAC.

- The Wolf Pack won its fourth road game of the season (all four in WAC play) and is now 4-8 on the road this season. Today's game marked the second of three consecutive road games for the Wolf Pack and is in the middle of a stretch of five of seven away from home.

- Nevada also won its fourth consecutive WAC game and fifth in the last sixth conference games. With the victory, Nevada moved into third place in the WAC standings with three regular-season games left to play.

- Senior Brandon Fields led the Wolf Pack in scoring for the third time this season with 23 points. He made a career-best six three-pointers in the game, going 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. It was also his fifth 20-point game of the season.

- Sophomore Luke Babbitt added 21 points for his 18th 20-point game of the year, while junior Armon Johnson had 18 points and senior Joey Shaw 14. Johnson moved into 10th place in career scoring at Nevada with 1,355 points in 84 career games.

- It marked the sixth time this season that Nevada has at least two players reach 20 points in the same game.

- Shaw made 3-of-4 three-point attempts in the game and was 5-of-8 overall.

 - Shaw paced the Wolf Pack in rebounding for the third time this season with seven boards.

- Johnson turned in seven assists, while Babbitt dished out a career-high five assists.

- As a team, Nevada snapped a stretch of being outrebounded in nine of previous 10 games, outrebounding San Jose State 33-28. It was the first time the Wolf Pack has outrebounded its opponent since a Jan. 9 win over San Jose State in Reno.

- The Wolf Pack is now 10-8 in games decided by 10 points or less and 4-1 in contests decided by five points or less.

- Nevada shot 51.7 percent from the field, including a blistering 61.3 percent clip in the first game. That marked the team's best shooting performance since shooting 54.5 percent in a Jan. 20 win at Boise State. The Wolf Pack is now 10-1 when shooting 50 percent or better from the field this season.

- The Wolf Pack made 10-of-22 three-pointers in the game and has shot 45.9 percent from beyond the arc (17-37) in the last two games.

- Nevada returns to action Saturday, traveling to Hawai'i on Saturday with tip-off set for 7 p.m. Hawaii Time (5 p.m. PT). The game will be televised locally by KAME-TV 21 and can be heard on Nevada's flagship, ESPN 630 AM, with Ryan Radtke calling the action.
