About This Game
Nevada has won six of its last seven games overall and has won its last four road games. Nevada will try to make if five in a row on the road as the Pack will travel to Moscow, Idaho for a game Wednesday night at 7 p.m. against Idaho. Nevada won both games last year while outscoring Idaho 126-92 in those games. The Pack, who has won 10 of the last 11 against Idaho, has not lost to the Vandals since a 69-59 loss at Idaho during the 2005-06 season.
About the Nevada Wolf Pack
Nevada is coming off a 64-60 come-from-behind win at NMSU Saturday, coming back from a 21-point halftime deficit. Tahnee Robinson led Nevada with 19 points while Shavon Moore scored 12 and Johnna Ward added 11. Kayla Williams led Nevada with 10 rebounds.
As a team, the Pack is shooting 40.3 percent from the floor, 32.4 from three-point range and 71.4 percent from the free throw line. Nevada is averaging 63.1 points per game while its opponents are averaging 61.4 points per game. The Pack is outrebounding its opponents by an average of 6.1 boards per game. Nevada is averaging 9.1 steals per game and 12.5 assists per game.

About the Idaho Vandals
Idaho is 4-16 overall and 2-5 in WAC play. Last week the Vandals lost to Utah State and in overtime at LA Tech.
The Vandals are led by Rachele Kloke (13.7 ppg) and Shaena Kuehu (11.8 ppg) while Yinka Olorunnife leads the team in rebounding averaging 7.0 rebounds per game. Idaho is coached by Jon Newlee who is in his second year.
Nevada News and Notes
- Nevada has won six of its last seven games starting with a WAC win at San Jose State on January 6. During that span the Pack has won its last four road games.
- Two players are averaging in double figures in Nevada's WAC games this year: Tahnee Robinson (18.7 ppg) and Nicole Williams (11.0 ppg).
- Nevada's come-from-behind win at New Mexico State marked the first time this year Nevada won a game when trailing at halftime. The game was also the Pack's slimmest margin of victory this year, four points.
- If Nevada wins at Idaho, the team would improve to 7-1 in WAC play and match is 2008-09 WAC record through eight conference games.
- Sophomore Amanda Johnson recorded a career-high eight assists against LA Tech. The eight assists are the most for a Nevada player this season passing Marianne Lombardi who recorded seven vs. UNLV.
- Nevada has recorded 25 turnovers or less in its past six games including a season-low 12 at Hawai'i, and is 5-1 in those games. Prior to those four games, the Pack recorded 25 or more turnovers in seven straight games and went 1-6 in those games.
- Tahnee Robinson has scored in double figures in 11 of her 12 career games for Nevada including the past nine games.
- Four players have recorded a total of eight 20-point games this season: Tahnee Robinson (3); Shavon Moore (3); Johnna Ward (1) and Nicole Williams (1).

Biggest Comeback in Program History
Nevada recorded the biggest comeback in program history when the team rallied from 21 points down at New Mexico State, 64-60. Prior to that comeback, the biggest comeback in program history was 16 points when Nevada come from behind to defeat Indiana 68-56 on November 27, 2002.
Eighteen of 21 Games Decided by double-Digit Figures
One of the Pack's 20 games this year has been decided by five points or less (a four-point win at NMSU) and only two have been decided by five-nine points. Eleven games have been decided by 10-19 points with Nevada holding a 7-4 record in those games. Seven games have been decided by 20 or more points with Nevada holding a 3-4 record.
Success in January
The Pack has found success in the month of January over the past two seasons as the team is 12-2 in January over the past two years. This year Nevada went 6-2 in the month of January. Last season the Pack went a perfect 6-0 in the month of January marking the first time in program history the team went through a month undefeated.
Nevada has he Most Players Averaging in Double Figures Since 2004-05
In its overall stats, the Pack has three players averaging in double figures (Tahnee Robinson, 15.6; Shavon Moore, 11.1 and Johnna Ward, 10.1). The three players marks the most players averaging in double figures for Nevada since the 2004-05 team had four players averaging in double figures.
Hammond Records 200th Career Rebound
Junior Marissa Hammond entered the LA Tech game with 198 career rebounds and recorded seven in the game to pass the 200 rebound mark for her career. Hammond is averaging 3.4 rebounds per game and is the second Nevada player to record her 200th career board this season. Sophomore Kayla Williams recorded her 200th career rebound at Hawai'i.
Nevada Wins Last Four on the Road
After losing its first six road games of the year, the Pack has won its last four. The Pack is 4-6 this season on the road and is 9-18 on the road since the start of the 2008-09 season.
Ward Closes in on 700th Career Point, Moore 600th
Junior Johnna Ward, who recorded her 500th career point earlier this season at St. Mary's with a 21-point effort, passed the 600 career point mark at BYU with her six points against the Cougars and currently has 667 career points. Shavon Moore scored her 500th career point at BYU and currently has 576 career points.
Moore Nearing 500th Career Rebound
Junior Shavon Moore has recorded 417 rebounds and is 83 rebounds away from 500 for her career. Moore, who this season is second on the team in rebounding averaging 6.8 boards per game, is 137 rebounds from sole possession of 10th all-time in Nevada's record book.
Albright Fourth All-Time in Wins at Nevada
Second-year head coach Jane Albright is fourth all-time in wins at Nevada with 30. She trails Ada Gee (117), Kim Gervasoni (59) and Anne Hope (44). Last season Albright became the winningest first-year head coach with 18 wins passing Julie Hickey who recorded 12 wins in 1981. Albright has a winning percentage of .566 (30-23) which is the highest winning percentage in program history.
Lombardi on Track to be Second All-Time in Games Played
Senior Marianne Lombardi, who has played in all 21 games this year, is on
track to tie former teammate Brandi Jones for second all-time in games played. Lombardi has played in 113 career games for Nevada and the Pack has nine regular-season games remaining. If Lombardi plays in all nine remaining games she will tie Jones for second all-time with 122 games. Depending on Nevada's WAC Tournament play Lombardi could become the all-time leader passing Dellena Criner who played in 124 career games for Nevada.
Moore 14th All-Time in Free Throws Made
Junior Shavon Moore is 14th all-time in free throws made with 133. She is 44 free throws away from cracking the career top-10. This season Moore is leading the team in free throws made (55),and free throws attempted (74) and is shooting 74.3 percent.
The Pack Successful at Home
Since the beginning of the 2007-08 season, Nevada has recorded a 33-10 record at Lawlor Events Center. Last season the Pack finished the year 13-4 at home while the team recorded a 12-3 record at Lawlor Events Center during the 2007-08 season. This season, Nevada is 8-3 at home.
Nevada opened WAC 4-0 for the Second Straight Season
The Pack opened WAC play 4-0 for the second consecutive year. The Pack opened last year with a school record 7-0 start to conference play.
Crashing the Boards
Nevada has either tied its opponent or outrebounded its opponent in nine games from December 4 - January 13 and a total of 15 times in 21 games this year. There have been eight games this year in which Nevada has outrebounded its opponents by 10 rebounds or more.
Nevada in the National Stats
In games through January 31, Nevada is ranked 16th in three-point field goal percentage defense (26.7%), 28th in rebounding margin (+6.1), 75th in field goal percentage defense (37.2%) and 79th in free throw percentage (71.4%).
Hot From the Free Throw Line
Through 21 games this season, Nevada is shooting 71.4 percent from the free throw line as a team. Five players are shooting 70 percent or better and two players are shooting 80 percent or better. As a team, the Pack took a season-high 30 free throws at Arizona and made a season-high 33 vs. Boise State Nevada shot a season high 95 percent from the line at vs. Cal (19-of-20).
Sharing the Ball
Through the first 21 games of the year the Pack has recorded 263 assists on 469 field goals, an average of 12.5 assists per game. The Pack recorded a season-high 26 assists against Sacramento State, three shy of tying the program record of 29 set in both 2001 and 2006. Amanda Johnson leads the team in assists (56) followed by Johnna Ward (37) and Nicole Williams (35).
Ward Seventh All-Time in Career Three Pointers
Junior Johnna Ward entered the game against Sacramento State with 95 career three pointers. She tied her career high and made five three pointers in the game to get to 100 for her career. Ward, who has made a team-leading 35 three pointers this year, has recorded 120 in her career and is seventh all-time. She became the fifth player in program history to record at least 100 career three pointers. Nevada's career leader in three pointers made is Ashley Bastian who made 212 during her career at Nevada from 1999-03.
Women's Basketball Timeout Luncheon
University of Nevada women's basketball coach Jane Albright will hold the second timeout luncheon of the year on February 25 at the Nugget. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and the cost is $16 at the door.
The luncheon will feature a gourmet buffet prepared by the Nugget and the program includes game recaps and previews by Albright as well as appearances by other Wolf Pack coaches and staff.
