The University of Nevada women's basketball team will look to continue its early success as it returns to the road this week to face the Wildcats of Weber State in Ogden, Utah on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 6 p.m.
Nevada is currently in the midst of the best 11-game start in school history with its 9-2 mark. The Wolf Pack's only two losses this season have both come on the road, but the Pack has improved its play away from home as of lately, winning it's last two.
The Pack is led by senior captains Tahnee Robinson (22.7 ppg, 6.5 rpg) and Shavon Moore (15.8 ppg, 8.2 rpg). The Wildcats are currently 4-6 on the year, led by reigning Big Sky Player of the week Megan Patterson (12.9 ppg, 2.5 rpg) and Caitlin Anderson (12.8 ppg, 5.1 rpg).
Robinson is currently tied for eighth in the nation in scoring with her 22.7 ppg. In addition, Nevada is 41st of 343 Division I teams in this week's RPI ratings and has the second-best RPI mark in the WAC, just behind Louisiana Tech (38th).
