STOCKTON, Calif. – Junior Gavin Kwon finished in a tie for 14th place at the Stockton Sports Commission Pacific Invitational, which concluded Wednesday at Brookside Country Club.
Kwon fired a 1-under par 70 in the final round and finished with an even-par 213 and tied for 14th at the 54-hole event to lead all Wolf Pack players.
Nevada finished 11th at the event. The Wolf Pack had a strong first round but fell back over the final 36 holes.
Kevin Lucas tied for 30th for Nevada after shooting a 71 on Wednesday and finishing with a 4 over 217 in the tourney. Senior Scott Smith was tied for 36th, a shot behind Lucas for the tournament.
Brian Knoll, who was under par in round one, fell back to a tie for 42nd. Chris Plappert was tied for 52nd after a 75 on Wednesday.
The tournament wraps up the fall season for the Wolf Pack. Nevada will return to action at a University of Hawaii tournament in February.
