RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada (13-15, 7-9 WAC)  volleyball team will open play versus Utah State (21-8, 9-7 WAC) in the 2010 Western Athletic Conference Tournament on Monday at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas at 5 p.m. The Wolf Pack is the sixth seed while USU earned the third seed based upon regular season play.  The two teams split the two WAC regular season matches with each winning at home.

The winner of USU/Nevada match on Monday will take on second seed New Mexico State (18-12, 12-4 WAC) at 5 p.m Tuesday.  

Fourth seed Boise State (21-11, 8-8 WAC) and fifth seed Idaho (13-14, 8-8 WAC) play Monday’s second match at 7:30 p.m.  With the winner playing #3 and top seed Hawai`i (27-1, 16-0 WAC) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Tuesday’s winners will play for the championship at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday in match that will air live on ESPNU.

Monday, Nov. 22
No. 3 Utah State vs. No. 6 Nevada, 5:00 p.m.
No. 4 Boise State vs. No. 5 Idaho, 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 23
Winner Match 1 vs. No. 2 New Mexico State, 5:00 p.m.
Winner Match 2 vs. No. 1 Hawai‘i, 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 24
Winner Match 3 vs. Winner Match 4, 6:30 p.m. (ESPNU-HD)
