RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada women's tennis team will travel to Fresno, Calif. to compete in the Bulldog Classic, their final tournament of the Fall, Friday.

The  Wolf Pack has seen some success as a team so far this year and some surprising individual success as well.

Each member of the Pack has notched at least one singles win in the first three events this season.  Michelle Okhremchuk, a true freshman from Doneck, Ukraine, advanced to the semi-finals at the USTA/ITA Regional Championships Oct. 13-17 in Las Vegas.

It took the eventual tournament champion to get Okhremchuk out of the main singles draw, as she fell to Lucia Batta of UNLV in the second to last round.

This will mark the final fall tournament for four student-athletes on the women's team.  Florence De Vrye, Lais Ogata and Aodhnait Lombard are competing in their last season of play in 2010-11.  Traveling from around the globe to play tennis at Nevada the women have come from Belgium, Brazil and Ireland respectively.

Each member of the Pack, including the three seniors and Okhremchuk, will try to bring home some hardware from Fresno.  At the Cal Nike Invitational, two members of the Pack did just that, with Lombard winning the white singles flight and De Vrye winning the white doubles flight.
