University of Nevada women's tennis player Emma Vreberne lost in the first round of the 2010 Riviera/ITA Women's All American Championships hosted at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades.  The Riviera Women's ITA All-American Tennis Championships offer the first national singles and doubles titles of the 2010-11 collegiate tennis season.

Vreberne drew Krista Damico of the University of Texas and fell in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 in the opening match of the qualifying singles draw.

Verberne, a sophomore from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, was the WAC Freshman of the year in 2010 and will be the only representative from the Pack at this year's tournament.  She made it to the round of 16 in the Gold singles draw of the Cal Nike Invitational in her first Fall event this season.

Past ITA All-American champions include current professionals Benjamin Becker (Baylor), James Blake (Harvard), Bob and Mike Bryan (Stanford), Irina Falconi (Georgia Tech), Laura Granville (Stanford), John Isner (Georgia), Kevin Kim (UCLA), and Lisa Raymond (Florida).
