STATELINE, Nev. -- Due to rain and issues with visiting team having enough time to travel, the 2010 Wolf Pack Classic at Edgewood-Tahoe Golf Course has been shortened to two rounds. Scores posted after the end of the second round Monday will stand as final scores.
"Rain delays caused travel issues for some of the teams," head coach Jacob Wilner said. "We just weren't able to play all 54 holes."
San Diego's score of 12-under 564 took first place, with the Pack closing strong in round two and posting even par 576. Fresno State, San Francisco and Washington State filled out the top five with scores of 577, 578 and 578.
Alex Ching of San Diego won the tournament's individual competition, shooting back to back rounds under par of 67 in round one and 70 in round two. His 7-under 137 made him a two shot winner over Nevada's Chris Plappert, who played as an individual.
