The Nevada football team has re-entered the national rankings after a two-week hiatus.
In the AP Poll, Nevada received 91 points and is ranked No. 25. The Wolf Pack is six points behind No. 24 Florida State.
In the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Pack received 112 points and is ranked No. 23.
Nevada has been ranked as high as 19th in the writers' poll and No. 21 in the coaches' poll but the Pack dropped out of both rankings following its Oct. 16th loss at Hawaii.
The Wolf Pack was ranked No. 24 in the Bowl Championship Series rankings last week. That marked the first time in the history of the BCS that Nevada was ranked in the BCS Top 25 rankings. Those rankings will announced later on Sunday.
Coming off its 56-42 win over Utah State on Saturday night, Nevada will hit the road this week for the first of back-to-back road games when it travels to Idaho to face the Vandals. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. (Pacific) kickoff on the WAC Sports Network (KAME in Northern Nevada).
Last night's victory made the Wolf Pack bowl eligible for a program-record sixth consecutive season.
