The University of Nevada women's basketball team was picked to finish third by both the media and coaches in the WAC preseason polls released Tuesday.
Nevada had two players named to the Preseason first- and second-teams in both polls. The WAC coaches named senior Tahnee Robinson and Shavon Moore to the first-team while the media also had Robinson first-team but Moore second-team.
Fresno State and Louisiana Tech were tabbed as the first and second place teams in both polls as well, respectively. Fresno State's Jaleesa Ross was named the Preseason WAC Player of the Year.
The 2010-11 season will get underway for the Wolf Pack on Sunday, Oct. 31 with an exhibition game at Lawlor Events Center again San Francisco State at 2 p.m.
